An apartment for a young couple of IT professionals in a modern residential complex in Kyiv, designed around the residents’ daily routines. Since both work from home, one of the key challenges was to combine a fully functional workspace with the comfort of a private interior.
The interior concept is built on contrasts in materials and textures: honey-colored wood and stainless steel, soft textiles and microcement, frosted glass and polished natural Ocean Pearl quartzite. Quartzite served as the starting point for selecting the materials and color palette for the entire project.
Most of the built-in furniture, the bed with a padded headboard, and the quartzite sink were crafted according to the studio’s custom designs. The character of the space is complemented by the Wood Hub dining table, the Buro150 bench, and the Aaro pendant light by DCW éditions, which the clients jokingly call the “crane.”
